In The Beginning
The work within the series of In The Beginning was based on the idea of healing, beginning, becoming, and actualizing one's magic. The Ascension took 2 years to complete. It was important to listen to the painting and make moves based on what was currently being spiritually communicated. Every piece that was planted onto this canvas was spoken to me.
Epiphany at the Darkest Hour and When the Universe and I Conspired felt as if they were gifted to me. Both were the result of pure emotion and nothing less. Within the process of creating these paintings, I moved, danced, laughed and cried. These movements of emotion are echoed throughout the series. The Last And First Day felt like an exercise in patience. Present is the culmination of the forward motions around my approach and creative application. It's a journey through what was, what is, and what will be.
The paintings in this series are meant to be felt and experienced,
not just seen.
